Welcome back to our ‘Meet the Team’ series! This week we are introducing our Product Developer and Support Lead, Akinsola Salami (AKA Sola).

Sola went to Ryerson University for the Mechanical Engineering program. Sola has been with Just Vertical for almost 3 years where he has been responsible for the commercial aspect of Just Vertical as well as the engineering and design of our beautiful indoor gardens. Sola is also the one that sketched all the pictures you see in our user manuals! Great job, Sola!

Why is indoor farming so important to you?

“It’s a beacon of hope to the current food insecurity issues in the world. It’s a way to provide not just food, but also green job opportunities to different communities.”

If you had to tell a new customer one thing about Just Vertical what would it be?

“Welcome to the beautiful world of indoor agriculture (if you don’t farm already). This is an excellent opportunity to see beautiful things grow (yourself and your plants, and us).”
